The impact of transformational leadership and interactional justice on follower performance and organizational commitment in a business context

چکیده
The relationships between transformational leaders and several follower outcomes have been well investigated, but the mechanism through which these leadership behaviors relate to such is relatively unexplored. By investigating mediating role of interactional justice, using structural equation modeling analyses, data collected from supervisors direct reports at various organizational levels, present study provides insight into psychological processes underlying its effectiveness on outcomes. In line with social exchange theory, main takeaway suggesting that leaders, who display behavior in a manner perceived by followers as respectful, fair, consistent moral ethical standards, may expect greater attachment an appropriate response justice.
